Illinois Farm Bureau encourages veterinary students to pursue a career in caring for food animals so we implemented a program to help offset the high cost of education. Do you have a passion for working with Illinois food animals and want to work in this field for at least five years after you graduate? Apply for our IVET loan program today!
The Illinois Veterinary Education Training (IVET) Program is sponsored by the Illinois Farm Bureau and offers low interest loans up to $40,000 total, that are payable over 5 years after graduation, and awarded up to three veterinary students attending any accredited college of veterinary medicine in the U.S. In exchange, students must commit to an Illinois food animal practice and work in this field for five years.
