The "PUBLIC RELATIONS ACTION TEAM" will prioritize and focus on one or two significant innovative efforts with measurable results that relate to the member or nonmember image of Farm Bureau® and agriculture and what Farm Bureau® is doing about it.
Illinois Farm Bureau® ACTION TEAMS develop ideas that benefit members and agriculture. Help keep these great projects going by asking members to join an ACTION TEAM. Projects have included:
Currently, the PR ACTION TEAMs is focusing messages toward specific audiences using social media. This past year, the team was "on track" to great promotions. They developed advertising that was seen on the Chicago train system. Targeting "the Loop" area, these ads were on billboards on the platforms and inside the trains. The ads helped share the message that family farmers care about the food they grow, the animals they raise, and the earth that they live on - and 94% of Illinois farms are family farms.
These print ads are great companion pieces to another grassroots project, the regional advertising committee campaigns.
