Get hog wild at the Illinois Pork Expo!
The theme for this year's expo is "Agents of Change: Adapting to
an Evolving Industry", which reminds us to accept change and make
the best of it. With teamwork, the pork community can stay on top
of current trends and make current practices better.
The expo is February 4-5th at the Peoria Civic Center
in Peoria, IL. The agenda is jam packed with something for
everyone. On Tuesday, the Illinois Pork Producers Association will
be holding their annual meeting. A trade show filled with
agribusiness representatives will display the latest services and
equipment for pork farmers. (Look for the Illinois Farm Bureau
booth!) Don't miss the University of Illinois Research and
Extension Information Center at the trade show. Find information
and resources relevant to your farm and talk with U of I extension
staff on topics such as reproduction, feeding/nutrition, and manure
management. A live and silent auction with unique items to bid on
will be going on as well.

On Wednesday, exhibitors can visit the trade show again and sit
in on seminars covering hot topics in the pork community.
The Illinois Pork Expo is the largest pork specific trade show
in Illinois and is a great opportunity to network and socialize
with others in the pork community.
We hope to see you there!
