The Award Night at Illinois Farm Bureau's Annual Meeting is always a great time to take county pride. This year's event was no different! Illinois President Philip Nelson awarded IFB's top prize, the President's Award, to five outstanding County Farm Bureaus that excelled in local programs and achieved membership goals. The coveted eagle trophy and lapel pin were presented to the President of these counties:
Nelson also awarded the 2012 Liberty Bell Award to five County Farm Bureaus that excelled in both Legislative and Local Affairs Programs and who responded to every Action Request. This year's winners are:
The ballroom full of people also watched as 93 county Farm Bureaus receive recognition for their efforts in membership and programs. President Nelson and Vice President Rich Guebert awarded County Farm Bureaus gold, silver or bronze stars in 8 categories:( Click here to download these great ideas.)
