Young Leaders Announce Conference, February 3-4

Yes, it's almost a new year… but that's not all that's new for the Illinois Farm Bureau Young Leaders. This 2012, they will have a chance to break through mental barriers and exercise their imagination to "Unleash Your Potential" at the annual Young Leader Conference, February 3-4.

Also new is the town and place - the conference will be held at the Bloomington-Normal Marriott. New speakers include Dr. Ron Hanson, Professor of Agribusiness for the University of Nebraska, Mark Mayfield, comedian, and Michele Payn-Knoper, from Cause Matters.

Jennifer Smith, manager of IFB Young Leaders, said the "new" year is going to be an exciting one for the program. "We are challenging our Young Leaders to get super-charged and think outside the box. Sessions will focus  on growth, leadership and family, and there will be fun activities for kids. We are looking for a record turnout and some powerful new ideas."
