To some, heroes are extraordinary. To us, heroes are ordinary farming men and women doing extraordinary things each and every day - heroes like you! Thanks to your good deeds, we have worked to protect and preserve our farming community. This year's Illinois Farm Bureau Annual Meeting is a celebration of your heroic efforts, from calling legislators to teaching children about farming.
We'll also be recognizing the heroic efforts of our keynote speaker Richard Picciotto, Battalion Commander the New York Fire Department. He will share his story of survival from September 11, 2001. Buried for more than four hours, he emerged almost unscathed and was the highest-ranking firefighter to survive the collapse.
Join us in Chicago and December 3-6, 2011 at the Palmer House in Chicago for the 97th Illinois Farm Bureau meeting.
