Why did we move? Why did we change?
Live Local will highlight and showcase the hard work being done throughout the state in local foods. Join us at this year’s conference and experience what is happening in the Peoria community. Peoria recently received the Local Foods and Local Places grant to integrate local foods into their strategic plan. However, before that, they had already begun a 5-county regional fresh food council, monthly food system economic development events, and a community embracing farming, food, and family. We are proud to showcase a new community but also a new season and what local means to that community.
Don’t miss out, register for this 3-day conference that will bring local farmers, local organizations, and local businesses together to network and help build the needed infrastructure for a long-lasting marketplace for farmers in Illinois.
