Illinois Farm Bureau’s Rita Frazer, director of network and audio services, has assumed the office of president of the National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB). Frazer previously served as president-elect and has been a member of the executive committee since 2017.
“Being a part of this organization has truly shaped my career from the start,” said Frazer. “The connections I’ve made over the years and the skills I’ve learned – I can trace them back to experiences I’ve had with this group.”
Frazer’s farm broadcasting career has spanned 30 years. Since January 2015, Frazer has been IFB’s director of network and audio services for the RFD Radio Network. She is also a full-time broadcaster, producing and distributing more than a dozen programs with her colleagues each weekday that are used by more than 80 Illinois radio stations.
NAFB is a professional organization that leads, promotes and supports growth in agricultural and rural broadcasting.
As president, Frazer will serve on the NAFB Board of Directors and will represent NAFB at several national events.
“It is quite an honor and responsibility to have the opportunity to serve such a great group of people,” Frazer said. “I look forward to carrying on the tradition of the strong leadership that we’ve had in this organization.”
