It's time: 2019 IFB Annual Meeting

Illinois Farm Bureau’s 105th Annual Meeting kicks off Saturday in Chicago.

“The theme for this year’s annual meeting is Stronger Together,” said IFB President Richard Guebert Jr. “Look at what we’ve done the last 18 months, working on trade issues, working on RFS, working on the state level with our legislators. We still have a big job ahead of us, but it makes a difference that we all work together.”

1,740-plus people registered to attend.

339 voting delegates will set Illinois Farm Bureau policy Monday.

148 silent auction items available for bid.

30 different farms will be featured Sunday at the Taste of Illinois, a celebration of Farm Bureau-member produced products. More info here

26 members will compete during Saturday’s Young Leader Discussion Meet. Visit this link for a list of participants.

25 exhibitors set up in the exhibit hall.

7 a.m. start time for the group run/walk Saturday. Meet by the Christmas tree in the Palmer House lobby. More info here

3 yoga classes scheduled at the Palmer House. Classes will be held at 6:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday in the Millennium Parlor. A 6:30 a.m. class will be held Monday in Salon 2.

3 health screenings – hearing, osteoporosis and skin cancer -- offered Monday during the Health Fair. More info here.
