FY23 Q2 Consumer Engagement Grants Awarded

Five County Farm Bureaus were recently awarded grants to host five consumer engagement events in their communities this coming winter.

Eligible projects include events that provide opportunities for one-on-one engagement between consumers and farmers/agricultural professionals.

Projects awarded grants during this funding cycle include:

Carroll County Farm Bureau – Charcuterie Boards & Ag
Jackson County Farm Bureau – All About Ag Trivia Night
Lee County Farm Bureau – Education & Agriculture
Peoria County Farm Bureau – Farmer Share Breakfast
Winnebago-Boone Farm Bureau – Ag All Around Us

Illinois Farm Bureau will continue to offer Consumer Engagement Grants to County Farm Bureaus throughout FY23. There are two remaining application opportunities:

Q3 applications for events taking place in the spring (March/April/May) open January 15 – February 15, 2023.
Q4 applications for events taking place in the summer (June/July/August) open April 15 – May 15, 2023.

Materials for the next application period will be made available on the Leaders’ Portal in January.
