  • Balance impacts/opportunities of utility, infrastructure projects while maintaining private property rights

Promote agriculture’s positive contribution toward improving the environment

  • Pursue the goals of the Nutrient Loss Reduction Strategy (NLRS)
  • Oppose federal government’s latest Waters of the U.S. (WOTUS) rule
  • Define and mitigate the impact of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) scoring at the farmgate

Promote grassroots member engagement

  • Develop and implement recommendations from Organizational Member Strategy
  • Position county Farm Bureaus for success
  • Support Young Leaders and engage future leaders

Connect rural, suburban, and urban Illinois

  • Build relationships, understanding among elected officials, communities, other influencers
  • Collaborate with allied ag organizations and other partners
  • Promote opportunities for diversified agriculture
