- Secure passage of a beneficial farm bill by U.S. Congress
- Demonstrate the value of livestock and its importance to the state
- Promote the development and use of next-generation biofuels
- Expand trade opportunities
- Address input availability, costs
- Balance impacts/opportunities of utility, infrastructure projects while maintaining private property rights
Promote agriculture’s positive contribution toward improving the environment
- Pursue the goals of the Nutrient Loss Reduction Strategy (NLRS)
- Oppose federal government’s latest Waters of the U.S. (WOTUS) rule
- Define and mitigate the impact of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) scoring at the farmgate
Promote grassroots member engagement
- Develop and implement recommendations from Organizational Member Strategy
- Position county Farm Bureaus for success
- Support Young Leaders and engage future leaders
Connect rural, suburban, and urban Illinois
- Build relationships, understanding among elected officials, communities, other influencers
- Collaborate with allied ag organizations and other partners
- Promote opportunities for diversified agriculture
