Pickup of IFB articles in other news publications

Each week, Illinois Farm Bureau shares articles that originate from within the organization with newspapers across the state. Stories are syndicated through a partnership with the Illinois Press Association (IPA), called the Ag News Service, and can be used by IPA member newspapers to supplement news coverage. Distributed content includes pieces from FarmWeek, Partners and IFB leaders, and aims to bolster coverage of ag-focused issues on mainstream channels.

From Feb. 1-28, IFB articles were published in Illinois newspapers 64 times and reached an estimated 9.1 million people. The top feature by potential reach and syndication in February originated in FarmWeek and discussed Illinois’ new agritourism liability insurance tax credit. Multiple articles distributed through the Ag News Service garnered high audience reach in February.
