The Illinois Agri-Food Alliance (ILAFA) has announced the launch of AGNITOR, a new cross-sector digital platform designed to connect agri-food professionals to classrooms for virtual chats about careers. AGNITOR aims to spark student awareness about career opportunities spanning agriculture, food, and natural resources.
IFB is a founding member of the ILAFA.
Through AGNITOR, students across Illinois will have the opportunity to connect with professionals from government, academia, non-profits, foundations, and businesses. By providing students with access to real-world professionals and showcasing the breadth of job opportunities available – from mechanics, marketing, finance, and law to food innovation, technology, cyber security, and more – AGNITOR seeks to inspire the next generation of leaders entering the workforce pipeline to consider careers in food and agriculture.
ILAFA is partnering with Facilitating Coordination in Agricultural Education (F-CE) in the launch of AGNITOR.
