See below for a list of ways IFB has provided value to our members in October. I encourage you to use this as a tool to help recruit and retain members.
- IFB provided election and campaign information and resources as part of its Get out the Vote effort before the Nov. 8 election. Visit ilfb.org/vote.
- Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom launched a new website at AgInTheClassroom.org and new resources for use in Illinois schools. IAITC also hit a milestone, reaching more than 100,000 students since the start of the school year.
- IAA Foundation awarded a total of $647,000 worth of grants to 89 county Farm Bureaus for local Ag in the Classroom efforts.
- IFB shared farmers' concerns on proposed atrazine regulations in comments filed to the Environmental Protection Agency.
- Farm Bureau was represented during arguments in front of the U.S. Supreme Court on a California law related to animal welfare known as Proposition 12.
- County Farm Bureaus worked with six county government boards to pass proclamations supporting National Farm Safety and Health Week.
