IFB seeking nominees for Illinois CCA Award

The Illinois Farm Bureau and the Illinois Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) Board are seeking nominees for the 2021 Illinois CCA Award.

Online nominations are due by 4 p.m. Sept. 24.

This award recognizes an individual who has performed superior service for his or her farmer clients in nutrient management, soil and water management, integrated pest management and crop production.

Nominations must come from a county Farm Bureau, active Farm Bureau member or a CCA’s employer with knowledge of the CCA’s qualifications. While other ag groups may suggest nominees, they must work with the local CFB where your nominee works to make sure the CFB is aware of the nomination. County Farm Bureaus may resubmit a past candidate who has not won.

Two IFB directors and three representatives of the Illinois CCA board will select the winner.

The winner’s name will be submitted to the Illinois CCA board for consideration for the International CCA Award.

The winner will receive a $150 Visa gift card, and the individual who nominated the winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card.

Online nomination forms, instructions and other information is available at ilfb.org/CCA2021.
