How do I know if my organization’s project/program qualifies for support?
All requests for support from Illinois Farm Bureau® must align with our corporate giving priorities and be made on behalf of registered 501(c)(3) organizations. For more information, check out our giving guidelines.
When can I apply? How will I know if my request has been selected to receive funding?
Our application period is open year-round; however, the fiscal giving year begins September 1. Applications will be reviewed quarterly for funding consideration. (Nov 1, Feb 1, May 1, Aug 1) You can expect to hear back with a funding decision no later than 30 days after the end of the quarter when submitted.
How do I access the application?
The application can be accessed via our online application. If it is your first time applying for funding, you will need to create an account with your email and a password.
Can applications be mailed or faxed in?
No. Any request for financial support must be submitted via our online application. This allows our team to review each request easily and provide a timely response.
Can I save the application and work on it later? Can I make changes after I submit it?
Once you have started the online application, you can Save your progress and return to it at a later time. When you are ready, submit your application click “Save and Finalize.”
NOTE: Once you have submitted your application, you can no longer make edits. Ensure all information is complete and accurate prior to finalizing. You will receive a confirmation email once your application has been submitted.
How much does IFB generally give per request?
While support is based on the nature and strength of each request, donations typically range from $250 to $1,500.
