I appreciate all the Farm Bureau members that attended last week’s Governmental Affairs Leadership Conference.
The agriculture industry requires critical thinkers committed to solving real problems while also learning about the complexity of how government functions.
I applaud those counties who have already worked with their county boards and commissioners to pass the Pro Ag Resolution and designate them as Allies in Agriculture. And I encourage more CFB’s to work with your county boards to pass a Pro Ag Resolution this spring.
We had a great turnout of legislators and CFB leaders for our legislative reception in Springfield last week. With 32 new state senators and representatives, it was especially important to build relationships.
