Farm Bureau Members, Leaders Highlight Illinois Ag During Farm Progress Show
Farm Progress Show returned to Decatur Aug. 29, kicking off three-days of ag innovation. Illinois Farm Bureau staff and members were onsite throughout the event meeting with new members, highlighting IFB’s latest work, and representing Illinois agriculture. Our leaders met with numerous news outlets to share Illinois agriculture’s story, discussing issues ranging from trade and inflation to technology and innovation. IFB leaders and members also met with state and federal lawmakers, including U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack, U.S. House Ag Committee members Rep. Mike Bost, Rep. Mary Miller, Rep. Nikki Budzinski and Rep. Eric Sorensen, Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker and Illinois Lt. Governor Juliana Stratton.
American Farm Bureau President Zippy Duvall also stopped by the IFB tent during the show to visit with IFB members and talk about issues facing U.S. agriculture.
