Whether you're a college student exploring career opportunities, a young professional building your network, a veteran beginning the next chapter of your agricultural journey or an experienced leader looking to grow, Illinois Farm Bureau offers programs designed to help you succeed. Agricultural Leaders of Tomorrow (ALOT) develops confident, informed leaders through intensive training in communication, advocacy, agricultural economics, public policy and leadership. Collegiate Farm Bureau helps students connect classroom learning with real-world agriculture by providing leadership opportunities, industry experience, networking and professional growth on campuses across Illinois.

Our Young Leaders program empowers members ages 18–35 to develop as advocates, community leaders and agricultural professionals through conferences, awards, educational events and networking opportunities that prepare them for leadership roles within Farm Bureau and beyond. The Illinois Farmer Veterans Alliance supports military veterans pursuing careers in agriculture by connecting them with resources, education, mentoring and a network of fellow veterans who understand both military service and farming. Together, these programs help members build the skills, confidence and relationships they need to make a lasting impact on their farms, businesses, communities and the future of Illinois agriculture.
