AFBF joined 17 other organizations in filing a legal challenge to the new Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule.
Illinois Farm Bureau is extremely disappointed in EPA’s new WOTUS rule, which largely places the burden on the shoulders of farmers to navigate overly complex regulations.
This new rule creates regulatory uncertainty for what is considered “navigable waters” on farmers’ private land. Farmers are dedicated to protecting our natural resources and waterways, but they shouldn’t need a team of experts and lawyers to do so.
